Fran Berger is Of Counsel to Masliah & Soloway, PC . She has been practicing immigration and nationality law in New York City for more than twenty-five years. Her practice has concentrated on employment-based immigration law for corporate and individual clients, and includes foreign students, academic and medical/hospital related occupations, and extends to family-based immigration matters and naturalization. She is a graduate of the University of Buffalo Law School. Fran has been an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, having served in numerous liaison and conference planning roles. She received the AILA President’s Commendation in 2004 and 2006 in recognition of her contributions to the organization.
Fran is a former member of the Board of Governors of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, a former Chair of the Committee on Immigration & Nationality Law of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York and she was an Adjunct Professor at New York Law School.
